Outstanding documentation. I've been using an MBP as my primary work machine at M$ for months, and all this time I figured the drivers didsn't support the trackpad's full abilities (to be honest I was a bit lazy and hadn't bothered to go hunting for a solution).

Thank you so much for documenting the process; getting right-click functionality has absolutely made my day. I'd like to buy you a cuppa when I'm in Redmond next (I live / work in San Francisco) to say thanks.

Mmmm... sorry I've never seen this problem before. Did you try downloading the drivers again from Boot Camp? This is such an isolated issue it does sound like a corrupt driver or corrupt install.

Sorry I can't be more use with this. ... if I hear anything on the grapevine I'll post back.

I recently got a Macbook Pro and installed Bootcamp 1.2 with Vista and every time I mess with the screen brightness, it reboots.

You can't believe how annoying this is but I can't seem to find anyone else having this problem. Are you experiencing this or know of anyone that is. If so, do you know of a solution for this problem since this is REALLY annoying.

Remapper 1.0.0.3 BSOD on me a few times so I decided not to use that.

Sounds similar to what I used to see. Are you using a MacBook or MacBook Pro. My MacBook Pro needed a Firmware update to sort out the sleep/hibernate issues so if you're using a MacBook it may be that Apple will need to the same for that as well.

Before my machine was sorted by the Firmware update - Sleep - tended to be more reliable - but generally only when chosen from the menu, not if you set Vista to 'sleep' when the lid is closed. And the process used to be chose 'Sleep' wait for the machine to sleep - then close the lid. Not exactly suitable for a quick getaway from a meeting or lesson, but it seemed to work.

Sorry I can't be more help.

I have Vista set to hibernate when I close the lid on AC or battery. Regularly when I open the lid again, the Windows recovery boot screen (Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, etc.) comes up saying Windows was not shut down properly. :(

Oh, and if I explicitly Hibernate from the Start menu it seems to work but when I then close the lid, the fan turns on full speed and Vista won't wake up.
